Every 4 weeks a friend decided that it was interesting to pursue his dream of becoming a chef by learning how to provide food for those in need. His dream started small, but he was able to get groceries and large supermarkets to donate food that otherwise would go for waste, just because it is required by law to dispose unsold items. This was an specific first time event in the outskirts of South Miami, which has a large population of Caribbean descendants with low income and life expectancy due to malnutrition. This picture reflects the first impressions to those children that saw us as strangers helping them out, something uncommon for a society used to individual achievements in particular situations.
